DS-8X Shifter

The Simagic DS‑8X is a hybrid, dual-mode shifter that combines an 8‑speed H-pattern with a sequential mode, all in one rugged unit. Its CNC-machined aluminum housing contains a reinforced steel core, giving it the solidity and precision to handle intense sim racing. With a single switch, you can toggle between H-pattern mode (8 forward gears + reverse) and sequential mode, without needing to disassemble anything.

To prevent mis-shifts, especially into 7th, 8th, or Reverse gears, it uses a pull-up gear lock. The resistance is adjustable, allowing you to dial in how stiff or light the shifter feels. You can also swap gear knobs — it supports multiple types, including third-party ones.

Connection is plug-and-play via USB (Type-A)—no extra driver software needed, making setup simple and straightforward. Mounting is flexible: there are several M6 mounting points, and side mounting is possible using an optional L‑plate bracket.
