The PSR Button Box Mini was designed as a compact, easy-to-build button box that offers plenty of functionality without taking up unnecessary space on your sim rig.

Designed Around Practical Racing Controls

The layout focuses on the controls drivers use most during a race.

At the centre of the design is an array of 8 programmable push buttons arranged in a convenient 2×4 layout. These can be assigned to almost any function, including:
- Headlights
- Wipers
- Brake bias adjustments
- Engine maps
- Pit limiter
- Black box navigation
- SimHub action buttons
- Radio and communication controls

Everything is positioned within easy reach, allowing you to operate the controls without taking your eyes off the track.

Ignition & Starter Controls

To make the experience even more realistic, the button box features a dedicated ignition switch combined with an RGB status LED.

The illuminated LED clearly indicates the current ignition state, making it easy to see whether the car is powered on before pressing the starter button. This is especially useful during pit stops, where a forgotten ignition switch can easily cost valuable seconds.

A separate starter button completes the sequence, giving the startup procedure a much more authentic feel.

Five Rotary Encoders

The Button Box Mini includes five rotary encoders:
- Three compact encoders positioned along the top
- Two larger encoders located on either side

This combination provides quick access to functions such as ABS, traction control, brake bias, fuel mapping, multifunction displays, or any other rotary-controlled adjustment supported by your simulator.

Modular Mounting System

The enclosure has been designed around a modular mounting concept.

Several printable accessories are included with the download, allowing the button box to be mounted in different ways depending on your simulator setup.

Current mounting options include:
- PSR SnapLink mount
- SnapLink Orbit Arm adapter
- Windsim tube holder
- Additional printable mounting brackets

The rear mounting interface also makes it easy to design and add your own custom accessories.
